The Hatter’s Tea Party
Instructor: Ashley Roberts
Ages 4-8
9am-12pm
Come join the party! In this weeklong clay camp we will hop on the potter’s wheel to create teapots, cups, sugar dishes, and creamers for an Alice in Wonderland inspired tea party. We will also sculpt some fantastic characters to join us.

Mud Monkeys
Instructor: Elaine Buss
Ages 6-10
2pm-5pm
Lets get dirty for the sake of art! In this class we will learn basic techniques for making things out of mud. We will make a variety of creative projects, including some functionals and some just for fun. Wheel throwing, pinching, coiling and painting will all be part of the adventure.
June 24-28
Rainbow Warriors
Instructor: Anna Krawczyk
Ages 6-10
9am-12pm
Drawing inspiration from the Cherokee and Catawba traditions local to Western North Carolina, as well as Asheville’s art scene, this clay camp provides a great introduction to the rainbow of possibilities that clay provides. Plenty of handbuilding and wheel projects.
Gabe’s Groovaliscious Clay Games

Here is a super fun Olympiad of clay games to challenge your creativity. You’ll be amazed at the things we make this week. Get ready to rock out at this groovaliscious camp full of handbuilding and wheelthrowing.

Teen Clay Camp

Ages 10-15
Due to popular demand, we have created a teen clay camp this year. Aimed at ages 10-15, this weeklong session will have plenty of time on the potters wheel, a large sculptural project, and we will take a tour of the River Arts District to see some of Asheville’s best artists working in their studios.

Nick Moen’s Bowl-a-rama

Ages 6-10
2pm-5pm
In this camp you will have the chance to pinch and coil bowls of all shapes and sizes. At the end of the week we will paint colored clay on the pieces to add decoration and life. Make pieces that the family will treasure…and use!
